Ingredients
1 tbsp. flour
250ml milk
3 medium eggs
1 tsp. English mustard
100g bacon, chopped
100g ham or viennas, cubed
1 cup Ladismith cheddar cheese, grated
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Mix the flour and a dash of milk to form a paste.
Add the mustard, eggs, salt, pepper, and the rest of the milk and mix well.
Stir in the bacon, ham/viennas, and cheese.
Pour into a small pre-greased pie dish or cake pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Rest for 15 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy the delicious flavours of this classic South African dish with your favourite summer sides!
